Default 3inch wide exhaust stock ka24de too big?

I have a ka24de that was a bitch to time right. I have a 3 inch wide piping madrale bent exhaust system. IS that too wide and could be the problem why my car was a bitch too time? too much air flow, my car would also stall some times wheile I was driving it. Maybe too free of exhaust flow and not enought back pressure, it just kinda "huffed out"? the only other thing I have on my car is cold air intake.

i used to have a n/a ka with a 3 inch exaust and it ran fine... now i have a ka-t with a 4 inch exaust lol...

i got Apex i N1 Cat back... not loud at all... its ALOT quiter with SR20DET cause i have had both SR and KA and SR sounds MUCH better KA is loud SR is deep and toned... save up get a good motor not a pos KA which will pop under boost... (unless you build the motor) but then your gonna be pissed cause you will be shifting at 5500 rpm lmao... save the head ache get a SR... and toss exhaust on it...and dont listen to ppl saying SR takes long to boost... i made full boost at 2500 rpm... lol... and my buddy had S15 BB turbo and made full boost at 2300rpm. =]

lol who ever u are (89hatch240sx) uve got a lot to learn! ive got a ka-t with stock internals... im hitting 347hp on 12 pounds of boost and i get full power all the way to red line!! i boost at 3000 rpms...... im gessing u have a sr when are u going to do a swap??

there is no reson for an exaust if your turboed so 4 inch is better than nuthing and by 4 inch im refuring to the gt spec which is 3.75 inches its easier to say 4

you cant compare and contrast like that... firstly you have a aftermarket turbo, mostlikely, GT2871R or GT307R, full setup, dump pipe, big fmic, ect ect. comparing that to a stock SR20 is stupid... lets do same with SR20 toss bigger injectors on it, put in a GT2871R, manifold, dump pipe, down pipe, cat delete, exhaust, fmic, tune for 12 -14 psi... run both just like that.... and lets see which last longer? i gaurntee the SR20 will run for over 2 years like that taching the bitch out everyday.... where as how many motors have you been though?
