block nissan 3222D JAPAN

what motor is this, it has the red top, looks to be non turbo?? my friend is looking to buy it for his ride but wants to make sure its the sr20. thanks

sorry no pics, i have been comparing some things to pics on-line and there are little dirrerences, like it says, "nissan 16 valve" all on the intake side, the oil fill is on the exhaust side, no tubing out of valve cover on the exhaust side.
