if it is this ca18det or ca18de, is the motor worth messing with, does it have the potential as the sr series, money wise what is it worth, i believe my friend has an 91 nissan, model i dont know but can find out.

I personnally like them better then sr20s, i heard they can rev alot higher and hold more boost.. not sure if thats true or not, but they are very much like rb20's. i would say they are worth fixin up definately

sure they are great motors. they rev a little higher than SR's from factory. They aren't as stable as an SR and parts are a lot harder to find for ca18det.

the rbs were based off the ca and when it comes to parts u can get them from the nissan pulsar also there is alot of european aftermarket support for them norrisdesigns.com is a pretty good site and i believe 180sxmartin on here made 600hp or sumthin like that on his ( i could be wrong though)
