just curios as to get your guys opion's on some cheap visaul modifactions you guys would do to a 91 240 sx hatch back like pictured below.Anything goes..just trying to get some ideas for my project

 

kouki conversion,staggerd wheels,tinted windows and paint it black.

 

oh wait cheap?umm paint it,tint the windows,ditch the spoiler and lower it down.

 

yea my plan is to remove the spoiler ,but i have a huge rust hole under it..with further ivestigation this rust hole is about the size of a baseball and to big to be bonded? i think?? im gonna paint it but thats way down the road.Would lower it but only have enough money for jsut lowering springs,and i have no idea how the car would handle with them.What is staggerd wheels?

basically the rear wheels are wider than the fronts and have a deaper dish.

the first thing you should do with your money is get your car running in great stock condition...

then start spending money on suspension parts...
then you can start on working on/ditching the engine

then worry about paint and aero

if he was asking about performance then i would say do a s13 sr20det blacktop swap,tubular manifold,gt2871R turbo,3'' exhaust from the turbo back,fmic,electronic boost controller,crower or hks cams,JWT rom tune ect ect.im not big on visual stuff myself but i gave my opinion like he asked for.sorry for the thread jack man.

 

hello there man.I knowww i knoww im so lazy ,i need to bust down and fix some things.Such as what i now figured out is eletrcal problem in my system/tranny causing it to shift wrong.and i need to replace my valve cover seal ( a little leakage FTL,and on the end of the plugs ) i dont even know why im worrying about looks right now.I guess its just cause money is tight atm so the only things i can do are free things ,i guess.But how dare you mention ditching the ka,then what? put a smaller motor in (sr) yea that would be baddass...really badass and a ka-t would be even nicer but a sr is soooo much more relible and cheaper depending on how you look at it .Hey anyone know any information about itbs? is any tunning needed? major modifacations besides cutting the intake and fittin everthing ,throtle cable being kinda tricky...i say this because i kinda have a gsxr 1000 parts bike
