I would do the same thing I did with mine. Leave it looking stock and add a 550+hp motor to it with traction. Then go out and have fun beating bikes and vettes. Or you can try and make a Benz out of that Datsun.

First fix your problems and get everything working right . Then source a new spoilerless hatch(unless you would rather keep a spoiler ) . At that point I'd say throw some coilovers on, K Sports are good for people on a budget .
