So after putting around 150 miles on my new 240 ,im geting that felling...it needs more power (planning on building for boost but thats a while from now) ,and looking for pointers on bolts on's that are proven ,also on the budget ,a budget like a crack head ,i know its a stupid quistion but this is my first car ,well first car that i can leggaly drive daily,and dont know much about it really,all i thought was a good set of headers maybe exuast and a good intake,but i also hear that in most cases in fuel ejected cars soem intake's will not incase power and also somtimes rob gas millege, becuase the cars intake is desinged for how much fuel is use's ect ect,ive noticed the ka24de motor's intake is all the way over to the side and has a tube running out of the other side of the air box going into the top of the tire well (stock ram air ).just looking for all around pointers,mucho apprectied with mizzad reppp,nissan's ftmfw

Consider a upgraded exhaust header hi flow car 3 inch exhaust. Upgrade intake by getting a cold air like injen or have Taylor weld you something youll find he is the best and put a fujita air filter on it. Next consider cams not exactly bolt on but a fairly easy mod. I dont recommend upgrading injectors or intake manifold/plenum untill you go turbo. When you go turbo you will find several companys producing "baller" intake manifolds. and bump to skunk I agree drift it

ok so i dident some research and figured im start runnin some sprizzay ,nitrouis oxide,should be interested,looking to run a 50 shot,hear cant cause much damage at those small numbers ,and a complete system is sooo cheap

i have to agree with this one.

 

Can't you safely advance the timing a little bit on that motor to grab a few extra horses? And it seems like there is a set of cams out of another nissan that will net you a small gain. I think they are out of an altima but I could have just dreamed all this up.

 

Cams unless PDM,JWT wont net you any real gains, and the perfomance cams will only show differences in tuned engines.

keep it regularly maintained, do the IHE standards, and focus on suspension.
