ok guys a little update for you. This is the problem at hand since we are keeping this open.
Asia purchased a ka swap from import corner back in november. He states that he was driving it and all of a sudden blown headgasket. Mind you this is now feb. and i did give him the 30 day start up warranty, like every other shop would. He did run into one problem of a missing sensor, that i did say i would try to get my hands on, and did not contact him back. I never heard from him again about it so i figured he got it himself. Durning the phone call to let me know the part was missing he said, i swapped the motor and it runs and sounds nice.So i am talkin with asia now to see if i can help him, even though he is way out of his 30 day warranty on used motor, and the fact he called me and said it runs good. Plus if it would have been a issue within the 30 day, my bussiness was still up and running, and even if the numbers were off he would have made a post just like this one, back then. So it is feb. he bought the motor last nov. and now the motor has a blown head gasket, and i must honor my 30 day warranty he states. I was also told i covered a leak with eletrical tape? I stated what kind of leak could i have covered with that? I am posting this cuz if everyone feels it is worthy of this thread staying open, i personally have no problem, filling everyone in on what issue we have.

well seeing u couldnt keep it in pms then well take it out here.1st i never called you about the plug i private messaged you.The motor was installed first part of november seeing i couldnt get ahold you, so i could pick it up.ive talked with many people to try and get ahold of you and no one knows anything or doesnt want to tell me.so i posted this thread.Why post a thread when i can ur old customers and friends, along with calling then post a thread

quite honestly, if you didnt check hoses before install, if you didnt replace with new hoses upon install, then well its your fault.
The warranty that ICI Gave you on a USED motor with well over 50k on it was generous enough. Let alone them responding after closing their doors to help out a previous customer.
The fact you blew the headgasket, tells me one of two things, the headgasket was gonna go reguardless of who had the engine, or you didnt backflush on install and overheated it, blowing the gasket.
Replace hope theres no warpage and get on with it. Dont go crying on the internet. It is very unbecoming of someone who did their own engine install, or a man in general.

like i stated you would have posted this months ago if it happend then and you couldnt get a hold of me. And you have to be kidding me that you didnt replace a heater hose or even inspect them pre swap. also if you would have back flushed the motor im sure you would have noticed the tape and inspected it then, so in that case it seems like user error. I really hope you dont think that i cut a heater hose line to get one over on you that is really funny. plus the fact of that blowing the head gasket? you didnt see water leaking or smell antifreeze. So plan and simple you surpassed your warranty blew it up, say i fucked you over on a slighty cut heater hose, which in the pic looks like it got pinched due to the size, upon install.which could have hit the firewall krease, while trying to set the motor in. I know every one looks there motors over period when purchasing a new one. Belts, hoses, etc. So you either did and missed it or payed no attention to anything. installed and possible damaged a 2.00 part your self, and now say it blew a head gasket and you owe me a new motor 4 months later. anything i missed?

the hose was fine, how could you tell you said it was wrapped in eletrical tape. what is going on here. this means you didnt back flush the motor, so there could have been air pockets along with the water in the motor. which means if the car read hot you also didnt watch for the temp gauge. So honestly what is the deal, are you just trying to get something for free or what. Cuz you are starting to talk in circles?
