Question Solid Subframe Bushings...

Does anyone run solid subframe inserts/bushings? Hows the noise level compared to before.

SPL solids with full Battleversion rear parts and Silkroad RMA8's 9/7 rates. no noise but will stiff the ass end depending on your other mods. cheap easy upgrade for old bushings.

now actual solid bushing replacments= more noise than you want. but the spacers do a good job.

I know this is an old thread but I gots two cents!
We (Martin & Tim @XAT Racing) took my car to the track and the rear would hop when warming up the tires, now with solids in it is a bit noisy but no wheel hop and lays plenty of rubber.

yup, the collars work well if the bushings aren't too bad. if the bushings are brittle and falling apart in chunks/seperating, then replacements or solids are the answer. noise will be apparent, but it will depend on your level of upgrades as far as other bushings and arms go.

stiff coilovers, solid subframe bushings, solid diff bushings, full rear arms with spherical joints, upgraded bushings in the spindle, sway bars, and chassis bracing bars will definitely make you feel every pebble you drive over. good for feedback, bad for comfort.

I put in aluminum spacers last week. Its nice now that the subframe dosnt slap against the chassis when i stop or start.
