cool build. i am not usually into the ls1 swaps into import sports cars, but the r34 is more of a touring car so i think the ls1 works well in this chassis.

**edit:disregard question. i read your(evangelion's) other posts. apparently you are a troll.
Because the factory KA24E or DE are iron blocks. Iron is a denser material, so the engine is heavier than an aluminum block. On the scale, a factory LS1 engine is lighter than an SR20DET. Go troll yourself.

Mmm side pipe hotness, too bad V10's sound like ass.Oh well whats a wrecked Viper go for these days? J/K

And comparing an Ls1 to an SR/KA the extra weight comes from the T56, although its more toward the center of the car so its not a bad tradeoff.

maybe on your scale. i have read your posts. you posted that a stock s2000 runs low 13s in the 1/4. practically everything i read in you posts is wrong. believe whatever you like.

i did not mention the ka. being that the ka is an iron engine i am in agreement with you.

have you guys picked up LS1 heads? 2 of em weigh less than a typical I4 alumn head.

I dont know about a huge weight less. I mean you did add quite a bit with all the extra plumbing plus an extra turbo as well.
