if you have to have the crank turned, you need a new crank.

i have not, and will not ever touch a crank that's been damaged, turned, or anything else other than micropolished at the very most.

i prefer brand new oem cranks dynamically balanced with the entire rotating assembly, including all brand new indexed flywheel bolts, p'plate and clutch and a brand new indexed crank pulley and bolt.

Taking material off a crank is no good

8$ a bolt at nissan. i tried using just hardend bolts with a lock washer cut to the same size.. not a good idea, broke 4 of them and the p/p locket the clutch to the flywheel when it almost fell of the crank... so yes buying new oem stuff is the best way to go
