I have only been hassled one time and got a ticket for my Apexi N1 dual in the 3 years I've had it. I know the only reason I got it was because it was around that time those gang members shot those kids earlier this year in Town 'n Country. So they were just probably pulling over "suspicious" looking cars and just gave me an exhaust ticket as a reason to pull me over because he didn't have anything on me.

I really feel safer sleeping at night knowing that cops are trying to protect citizens eardrums

 

someone needs to start a major petition to void this law its completly and utterly stupid.

 

good luck with that. Old people will shut that down so fast you won't know what had happened. Face it--Florida=mostly old people..what they want they get because every single old person votes, and they don't want to hear loud cars when they are listening to their oldies doing 10 under the speed limit. Its the same reason why they aren't building anymore new race tracks

It's illegal. You can fight it, but you won't get anywhere. They mostly hate canister style exhausts. This is why you don't see many cops enforcing this on the domestic side. I drove my car for a while open d/p I had no issues with the police, even though my car was extremely loud (sounded awesome though). I even got a thumbs up from a few cops a while back.

 

the kid asked a question and every1 is telling him to stop bitching... it really sucks when people dont stand up for when they think something is wrong because then iraq happens... either way he asked if it was illegal and the only person to actually answer his question was matt.. and if u think he should just pay it and stop bitchen then give him the money and u stop bitchen at him just my 2 cents

 

He can do whatever he wants. It's illegal. He can bitch, but it will not get you anywhere, many of us have already been through this same situation.
