You talking about a SR20DE? Non-turbo SR for silvias???
If so, Taka has one, i think.

that's kind of a dumb question isn't it? Once you spend any amount of time in a car that has better than 10 pounds per whp and you are thinking of a na sr it kind of makes you laugh a bit. 20 k later it would still be slow. don't waste your time. the replacement for displacement is boost. if you don't have the boost then its just plain slow.

i do see your point . but if your runnin all motor you'd also have that power instantly instead of waiting for your turbo to spool .

sr20de could be badass, but just like an n/a KA motor, it will require a good chunk of change. and possibly some sacrifice in streetability...meaning high compression, nasty nasty cams, maybe individual throttle bodies. but at least its actually easier to do than an n/a ka, those seem to suck even when built n/a.

for a nice road course car, or maybe autocross it would probably be pretty nice. high compression, good cams and tune and ITB's...i dunno how much u could get out of it honestly, at least 200whp if not 225-230...plenty enough for a 2600-2900 lb car to do alright in. i think 250-300 is doable on those race motors, but i wouldnt expect it out of a street car.

i seen an RWD n/a sr20 high comp. built individual TB, cams, header, 55 shot, etc... 240 whp! not really worth it if you can get that with bolt on on turbo engine. But Just IMO

Its not like a NA SR makes power where a Turbo SR wont. Both will make the same power until the turbo makes boost.
