my s13 is at this shop and the guy doing my swap is saying the tranny on the motor i bought wont fit in my car....both my motors are the exact same years...my old one blew and at 160xxxmiles and the new one has 80xxx miles....they are both 92 motors...i know they will fit but the idiot guy says he cant do it becuase 1. it wont fit, and 2. becuase there are sensors that arent in the new tranny....is that true..are there sensors in the tranny's that cant be taken out of the old one? are there even sensors in there?

yes there is a portion of the harness that connects to the tranny but everything is interchangable. all ka's should bolt in to s chasis no problem. as long as the ka that you're given him isnt FWD, then you should be fine

 

kick the guy in the nuts then take your car to orlando powerline... they arent stupid

 

They are ALL interchangable, to my knowledge, only 97+ have different sensors, but the bell housing's still the same, should have no problems.
