ok just to clear things up for everyone the smoke was comeing from a small oil leak which i fixed. it was dripping onto the exhaust manifold and burning up.the poping is still there shough just not as bad as before i solver part of this because another hose had fallen off between the top of the bov and the turbo. it still pops but i can run through it. its still not right and ian i will be up to see you with my baby at about 12 tomorrow

 

my car seems to be doing the exact same thing. stock boost, stock, side mount, etc. I think it might have something to do with fuel delivery. I checked all my charge pipes and they all seem fine. It started doing it all of a sudden when I was sliding a bit last night. This is my first SR, and I dont know much about them....any help would be great. Also, what oil filter does it take?

 

fiveorx791 i had the same problem a whil back when my car would drive under 3k it was rine but when i acelerated from that it would pop and sputter and brake up i hade a realy dirty fuel filter wich caused it to get alot less fuel, and if that dosent work it started doing the same thing again and it was a loose wire in the distributer if that helps at all
