"then i drove for about 20 min and the pedal started to stick a little and the car started sounding like a toy wind up (whinning)"

Yes the whirring sounds like a throw out bearing to me.

I had that happen to one of my cars. after awhile the fluid in the clutch master does heat up and stops working ( why I have no idea) and after I had the fluid changed (flushed out and replaced) it worked great. they said something about it being old and lost something...I dont really remeber but it might work out for you.
Just my experiance with the same type of problem.
Chris

sounds like you were just jumping to conclusions about the DC clutch. You either have a bad install or you need to drain all the fluid and move to synthetic fluid.

much like shady shops, all full surface clutch discs need to be broken in.
