one day mark.. one day... i am still working on a good oil supply solution for my motor project. btw.. i think I will be able to do the 1/2" studs locally, but if it falls through I will need you guys to do the head / block stud work for my motor. Thought of anyone that can do a 90, 91 or 92 mm gasket other than cometic ? Out of curiousity.. how much do the alum rods weigh you guys run ?? Just want to compare to my ti rods.

Jonas if it is anything like your sr car (condition) I have no worries because I wont be making it a multi-purpose car.

I plan on making a ka that likes 8k rpm and a turbo that eats small children

still debating on turbo. i am thinkinggggggg t3\t04e 57 trim with .63 ar but i am not sold yet. still debating on the "snail" ;-0
paint waiting. jlines in a few months because of waiting time. this will also be drifting car
sounds nice Jonas but I would trash the log manifold and the injectors. Have Glenn build you a indestructable manifold like mine. The log mani will choke and make lag. My 35R cracks the wastegate @ 4600 rpms on the mani. Protect your investment get some nismo/tomei injectors instead of douche works. What about cams/springs and plenum? These are most important for a no topend KA IMO and nobody has them.

i am thinking of trashing the injectors. i havent heard anything bad about these jgs manifolds so far. i am also not planning on pushing as much as you so i am hoping what i have is sufficient enough. but ther eis still time to change out those things. thanks for all the input!! as far as head work, i am still debating. i might. i might.

CAMS !!!!!! V. Springs !!!!!!!!!! Log manifolds kill tq everywhere. Really look into a tubular.. like Hybrid Dynamics or Full Race. I have tuned a lot of cars and can tell you that they kill about 15-25 % of your power at identical boost levels. Douche Works like tim said.. thumbs down. 550's get a KA to about 380 rwhp getting close to max. I run 740's on the Bandit @ 22 psi w/o any problems. One real big thing I have noticed about KA's Jonas... they like to lift the head... get the updated ARP head studs.. I don't think the old ones are even sold anymore, but make sure you pick up a good set. We usually stock them, because the Bandit chews through headgaskets pretty quickly. You can get a built KA to 450-500 fairly reliably on pump gas @ about 19 psi.. but you have to do cams... have to have to have to. No cams = 80 less hp. Last time I did a stock cam / built bottom KA with a .63 35R like Tim's it struggled to crack 400 on 20psi... and that is a serious fucking turbo.

crower cams ftw on a ka .. at least a 262 w/ about 11.5mm lift.. shim the head to 16 / 18 and hit 450 like its going out of style. KA turbo feels like it lacks something w/o cams.. no matter how much boost you run.
