Default lowering my car???

Okay.I found out how to take the factory struts and springs from my 90 coupe.but now when I'm about to put my new gas shocks with lowering spring into my car I have trouble getting the screws back into the 2 holes that connects to my caliper.any special tricks how to get them together easily???I'm having trouble getting them installed.

keep wrestling with it.
use a jack to suppourt under the LCA if you have to.
Once you get them to line up a little bit, use a screw driver to line them up all the way.

i had the same problem when installing my coilovers. 1st one was a sinch. 2nd one i was fucked for awhile. but yeah do what the mike dude said. good luck.

whats LCA??just wondering..I know how to use diff tools but on how to use them on diff application on how to bypass the problem....some ppl say use the spring compressor so it help u get it up to where u want it.I just need some advice from ppl that been in this kind of situation???just my 2 cents...

I use c clamps and a forklift to compress the springs

drop the fork down, to compress the spring down, then use the c clamps to keep the spring from unspringing while loading it in the strut.
Easy work.


Harbor freight sells those compressor spring clamps for like $10
