eddie kihm (owner of peak performance) sells both a 2.2L and a 2.3L stroker kit for the sr. they are running the 2.3L in their car for FD.
also eddie was origianlly going to do a 2.2L and a 2.4L kit but the 2.4L was way to aggressive and extremly unreliable. it would pop a head gasket after about 50 miles. but the 2.3L is a great kit.
here is a link to thier site.

SR20DET 2.3 Liter Stroker Engine Kit - Peak Performance
Okay before I send this to the company and look like a total jackass I was wondering if someone here could help me figure this out. This is the email I was about to send to Peak Performance. I know I've got a lot to learn about engine mechanics and design but could someone help me understand?
"Hello, I have a few questions that I am a bit confused about. My tuner here in Tampa has taken a stock stroked SR20DET and sleeved the block to accept 89.5mm pistons. He said this creates a motor with the displacement of 2.2L's. My question is that he is using the stock 86mm stroke but the larger bore to create this displacement...this extra 3.5mm's has given him .2 extra liters of displacement without changing the stroke(if I understood him correctly, which I probably don't). When using your companys 91mm crank and 90mm JE pistons why does this only lead to a .3L change in displacement?"
Like I said, I'm pretty dumb and new to the whole deal regarding the actual math of bore x stroke = displacement and all that nonsense so can someone help me not feel so stupid? Thanks!

^ good damn quAstion! someone post the math, i'll search online at the moment till someone posts.
okay Engine Bore / Stroke table for some common engines at DONS AUTO PAGES
with the stock stroke of 86mm and pistons of 89.5mm the total displacement = 2164.76 cc
with the 91mm stroke and 90mm pistons the total displacement = 2315.47 cc
So yes, it is a 2.3L

thanks guys.. they 2.2's came out awesome.. and are making ridiculous power on 93. they are hungry though.. they are hungry for some 109 or c16... stay tuned... now the big riddle is ... what am i going to do to my sr when i build it ??? someone's gotta build something to compete with the punisher !! get your real real thick hater blockers on. :d

who needs more than 2 liters? The only thing on the streets that is beating me is 1 liter bikes. Go ahead and build a 2.3 with a GT4088R to beat me. I will run 40 psi on pump gas with a Polish Vodka injection kit FTW.
That stuff is the sauce! WOOOOOT! Seriously though send my old legendary SR block off to Benson 2.3 sleeve it and We will build it exactly how we did mine. I will bring the beers.
