im posting this for a friend with a 91 sentra with a GTIR hes what he wrote

I was pushin my car at the top of third when the car suddenly just shut down. Well i go under the hood and noticed that the stub on the intake manifold that is supposed to be capped off wasnt. So i recap it and try to start my car...nothin. I call XAT and they said try a new mass airflow sensor.
So i buy a new one and still nothing. I dont understand why my car isnt starting from just a boost leak that i already fixed.

Any suggestions are helpful.. also if you need more info let me know

Im sure someon could internet diag your car, but your best bet is take it to a shop.

 

Mistake: Buying a MAF w/o trying one off of your friend's to make sure that it's the problem.

Need more info. Does it click and turn and not start? (possible ignition problem) stock ecu or aftermarket? (might need to clear codes to get it to start). I'm sure we can tell you a million different reasons it doesn't start... but more info always helps.

alright after it lost power it started a couple times after that but was running like complete shitt we tried different shit to get it to run correct and it would start but run like shit then after we capped the hole it wont fire it has gas and has spark but wont fire....

the ecu is aftermarket from JGY coustoms its not throwing a check engine light....how would we clear the codes if any??

 

naa it didnt over rev at all he didnt make it past 6800 before it cut out

 

blow a coupler off?
