rb swap fails big time..... the time and money spent is nowhere near worth it.

There have been several people try and fail. They ended up selling the project cars.
There were pictures of a wide body S14 with RB26 and AWD a few years back. It was on a Japanese website and they used the complete GTR driveline and electronics. If you have enough money anything is possible, but it would be cheaper to just buy a GTR.

If you cannot devote time or money to your car, then you shouldnt swap in any engine.

I dont honestly see how an RB swap can be considered that much more expensive than an SR done up right. After all the normal upgrades, and engine rebuild...you are only going to be in for a little more for mounts, and driveshaft depending on what motor you chose.

Like lord said, alot of people over the years have tried it on FA/nico/zilvia. The people who actually try it, not just talk about it usually know what they are doing, have the money to do it, and have the resources to do so as well...and when they give up, you know it is a difficult thing to do.

Anyways, tell us what your plans are. I would love to see some tech on this forum for a change, if you have a plan.

awd on a S14 chassis I got to see this.

Someone is going to lose a hell of alot of money in this conversion.
Dress it up with the conversion, then someone will take a look at it.
If no dress up, no one cares.

I honestly dont understand. You have been asking about swaps in the past. I am pro KA myself, but to say that any engine swap that has been done before is not worth it is somewhat silly. Every engine has their ups and downs.

Good luck on that though. Seriously.

lol i kno what you mean...im just saying that
big money+lots of time=rb
when
money+small amount of time=sr

the same amount of money going into your rb could be put into the sr to make it just as good if not a better engine in a shorter amount of time...btw im not pro sr or against rb's. i just dont see an rb swap as being practical unless youve got a ton of money, a ton of time, and really want to do something unusual........

I thought this was about AWD conversion, not motor swaps.
