Default problem starting my sr

alright, this is my problem. sometimes during daytime driving i'll park my car and when i try to restart it the engine wont turn over. i can hear a clicking noise when i turn the key, which sounds like the starter solenoid. she seems to restart when the engine cools down. could the problem be corrected with radiator upgrade which is already in the works, or is it a starter problem? i need to adress this problem asap.

it sounds like to me its your coil modulator. what i would do is drive it and check to see if the modulator is hot, if so it needs replacement... i maybe wrong

well the coil modulator kinda makes sense seeing that i've fried a couple of coil packs in the past.

You said the engine does not turn over. That means the starter is not working. Check your starting system.

i does your starter sound like a rotory sometime? if so it's your stater solenoid. also if your starter makes a clicking noise... you have a voltage problem, but you also said when the car cools down it will start with could be you coil modulator.. and one more thing does your car stall sometimes out of no were... if so check the coil modulator

I would say replace the starter. I have the same exact issue. But it has nothing to do with heat. I replaced my radiator, added electric fans, lifted the hood, and added a ram air. Still the same issue.

the car doesn't stall out for no reason but i do see the rpm's drop a few hundred from time to time. i figured that was normal for and old engine.
