unless the black stuff you saw in the piping is raw oil but then you would notice spy hunter style smoke coming from the tailpipe if thats the case time for an upgrade or new seals

as far as running no ic UNSATISFACTORY even a stock sr sidemount is better than none!!!! if you plan on running on more than 6 to 8 pounds it's a must or bad shit will happen!!!! if you need a side mount cheap call trey or moe at 941-955-7570

my bro got behind me today and when i was reving it he said there was all kindas of black smoke.. weird thing is sumtimes when i get the rev's high eought it will clear out and take off(usely in 3rd gear).. and if it was a leak it wouldnt be boostin at 9-10psi when i floor it, would it?

^ yes it will still get the boost up there. Your turbo is able to provide enough air to overcome the leak that is occurring (supposing it is in fact a leak). What is happening is your MAF is telling the engine x amount of air is coming, so give me more fuel. Well the leak lets some or a lot of the air out before the engine but the engine doesnt know this. So now you have a really really rich condition.

i jus rememberd, z31's have a pop-off valve to protect the motor. your car might have the same thing. it should be somewhere on the intake manifold.
