Ok a S14 Blacktop is almost exactly the same as the S15 blacktop besides the 6-speed transmission, larger injectors, and extremly minor diffrence of the turbine wheel and the divider on the exhaust side. So why is the S14 blacktop rated at 220 and the S15 at 250? Is it just set at a higher boost than the S14? Or do the injectors pull out an extra 30hp? Flame away I dont care just as long as you answer my question please. Thanks.

I don't think this deserves a flame at all. It actually got me thinking...I'm pretty sure they increased the boost from 10psi to 10.6 psi...that plus the injectors plus all the little shit...i'm sure there's a real answer...thats all that i can come up with...buy it or not.

Both engines have the VTC on the intake cam only. And if im not mistaken it was "optional" on the S14's. I doubt there are any "major" diffrences in the ECU's.

I don't know for sure, but I'd have to say more boost. An additional 0.6psi would not add 30hp, but 12psi and slightly different tune might net you close 30. The S15 does not have variable lift. The larger 480cc injectors do not add any hp. They just make sure you don't run out of injector with that T28.

???? What?
You got them mixed up. The SR20DE came with the 10.1 compression ratio on the S15's. Not all S15's where turbo or even 6 speed.

S15 Spec-R V-Package - 6 Speed Turbocharged (SR20DET)
S15 Spec-S V-Package - 5 Speed Non-Turbo (SR20DE)
S15 Spec-R L-Package - 6 Speed Turbocharged (SR20DET)
S15 Spec-S L-Package - 5 Speed Non-Turbo (SR20DE)
S15 Spec-R AERO-Package - 6 Speed Turbocharged (SR20DET)
S15 Spec-S AERO-Package - 5 Speed Non-Turbo (SR20DE)

N/A: I think (Dont quote me) 220hp
DET: 250hp
