Wont go into gear
OK I know this is a stupid question but I am very limited on time and tools. I just bought an 89 s13 drove it from Tampa to my house in LOL everything was fine...I have been waiting on some cash to get reg and plates. I got the money for that stuff so I went out to flip it around in my driveway to do oil change and shit and the fucker wouldnt go into gear..ANY GEAR. I checked the fluid in cylinder and checked the cylinder on the tranny both looked ok (as in they were moving) So if anyone can give a good place to start checking instead of having to drop the tranny and go through the basics let me know
Oh ya there were also no puddles of any kind under the car either

The first thing I would have said is that the clutch hydraulics need to be bled. It sounds like you've checked it, but make sure that when the pedal is down the clutch slave is moving an inch or more. If that's not it, there's an outside chance that your disk is stuck to your flywheel. I have no idea how to safely fix the latter.
I will bleed it tonight when I get home.....to make sure

I really think that it's impossible to weld/burn a stock clutch to the flywheel. It'd explode before it became permanently attached. He'd smell burning clutch only during (and shortly after) frying it. The next morning, it would smell fine. I burned the crap out of my WRX clutch way back. It worked fine, it just stunk for the next 20 minutes. 30 minutes later, you'd never know.
The guy I bought it from said he just had the clutch replaced...he said it was some sort of perfomance clutch...when I test drove it there was no play in it at all it was either on or off.....
I would be so happy if it is just a clutch and not the tranny
