redtop in s14

Default redtop in s14

ive been hunting for hours to no avail? maybe im just sucking at the internet?!?!

anyway i cant find any definitive info for a redtop s13 into an s14 chassis. can anyone point me in the right direction or give me any info on whats involved? i would appreciate it greatly!

its a direct bolt in replacement, same mounts, a litle re-wiring and lengthening is required, and i believe you do need to cut a hole for the hot pipe, but besides that its like taking out a ka and putting in another ka.

I was told with swaps like these the FMIC kit you order has to be based on the engine you are using , i.e. if it's a s13 engine into a s14 , you use the s13 fmic kit. And that everything would fit nicely (not personal experience though). And s13 specific engine parts are to be used.

Better cylinder head for one. But yeah a S14sr would simplify your purchasing/fitment of aftermarket parts in the future.

his redtop was leftover from his s13 that he wrecked i believe. so he already has the motor.

sr20.hybrids.jp used to have the full writeup, sites been down a year+ now

its pretty close to s13 swap, there are some extra stuff concerning a/c and ascd (cruise control).
