poorboy,

what wheels and torque are you applying?

also, what STYLE are your lugnuts? maybe they aren't seating against the wheel properly?

are you using any grease or assembly lube on them so the threads don't rip out?

i drove around for 8 months on 2 lug nutson each of my front wheels, no problems.

also, i don't reccomend doing the ARP's, they strip out VERY easily, even on s13 and s14 rear..

we sell PEAK PERFORMANCE studs at enjuku racing that have PERFECT knurls, i have never been happier with a longstud solution for the cars. and they are very strong..

www.enjukuracing.com , it's goodenough for our twin drift cars, give it a try.

Are you using spacers? wheel spacers have a tendancy to pinch the studs until they snap...and they will keep doing it unless you swap them out for wheel adapters (those actually scew into your hub).

alright well i just got the car off the lift and i think i might have found the problem. the rear sub-frame bushings are done for. the rear supsension keeps slapping around and i think its hitting so hard it might be cutting into the studs. Ostrich thanx for the info. i will be checking into the studs you mentioned right away and prolly a set of subframe collars as well!!! As for the wheels i'm just running stock s13 se wheels and stock lug nuts. no spacers or anything like that

By the way, you can't run stock closed end nuts with long studs.

I have never heard of ARP's stripping. Plus they are super cheap and Honda's have a coarser thread pitch which makes it easier to thread on lug nuts and it doesnt seem like they could strip as easy as Nissan ones.

How much are those studs Matt?

the ARPs don't strip on the threads, they strip on the knurl where they attach to the hub.
