If you go back and read what I wrote, I never stated that the SR would have head lifting issues at street level HP. I was talking about higher power, that you would see out of a high-end drag car. I was comparing the strength and overall potential of each of the motors, and that's where that came up.

And I agree, the SR is the most popular swap for the S chassis'.

I have yet to see this in person , with several people running over 18psi-22 psi of boost on the stock headgasket/bolts, I just don't see how this is (not doubting your abilities as a tuner).Bottom line is , the SR will be able to achieve just about anything you could want out of a street car with the factory internals (bottom end to be more specific) still intact.Their are many other reasons why SR swaps are popular , and it's not just becuase they are JDM. I honestly do not think you will see many/if any people with S chassis cars swapping QR's in their vehicles.
the point is not weather or not all s chassis will come over to the QR.. it is simply that some people will want to do something different with it. in fact, i think it would be sweet to see an s chassis with the torque of a bolted N/A QR.

well.. i have yet to see the power of a KA.. all i get is the garbage KA's with no boltons to run.. i was trying to get some runs against the KA's at one of the previous track events for the "KA vs. QR Long stroke challenge" but got nothing. so i guess you can say what you want, but i'll believe it when i see it.

so how's the SQR anyways? All this hype about it on the dyno and stuff......and of course no real-world report on if the engine has survived or blown up yet.

(of course, if it blew, we wouldn't hear about it anyways)

well CHUMP MIKE lashes out as always, instead of trying to start something why dont you read the threads that youve post in on vboard and everywhere else...it smoked the clutch making a 22# pull.travis and i both have driven it on the street at low boost, roughly 12-14 psi and it pulls like a motha.
