alright guys this is for you techs out there. i would like to know what between all the sr20's is actually a compatible internally, headbolts aren't for example, so:

rocker stopper's?
valve springs?
camshafts?
camgears?
crankshaft?
pistons?
rods?
are heads interchangeable?
is the bottom end interchangeable?
can i put a gtir head on a se-r bottom end?
can i use se-r internals on a gtir longblock?
etc.....
i hope you guys know enough to help me and others out.
i think if i can get enough facts in this thread will all learn something to better our motor building in the future.


i dont have a specific plan b/c i have already built my car and was just wondering if there are other availabilities for me in the future.

thank you very much it is just as i thought and now i'll be plannin a new project. by the way i found who can sell sr20ve-t 4wd from a x-trail but there expensive, 6000 for a clip with motor, tranny, ecu and uncut wiring harness.

 

tony.. i know what we will do for your next project after we kill the motor in your gtir... sr20vet 4wd in your pulsar.. with a CP / Pauter bottom end... Let me know when you rob a bank and are ready btw...

 

naw i wanted to use my spare motor for two different projects bottom end for the gtir and head for my other pulsar. i'll let you know what it is i'm thinking about doing.
