S14 KA cooling problem
u took out the bolt on top of the intake manifold to bleed the air out of the system??? i had to do it about 4 times before all the air was out..i have had that exact same problem before..

Your problem sounds very similar to mine, except I think mine isn't to the point where yours is at.
For me, if i drive long distances I over heat.
What Taylor was explaining to me today is that I have a bad headgasket. Not to where oil and coolant are mixing.. but to where the motor is pushing air into the cooling system, causing mine to lose coolant (pushing a lot of air through, "boiling" over)

just take off the water pump and put on a new one... it takes 45 min.

ok this is tampa racing. How many people have kept their 240 stock, very few or none. 2nd I was informed that this motor may see boost if it ever has a reliable future, but to each their own.
What if the upper hose on the radiator gets hot aong with the radiator but the lower hose stays cool? The radiator is not clogged either? Would it be a thermastat problem?
Sorry to thread jack but its on the same subject
Thanks

this post doesnt even make sense.
if the headgasket is blown, fix it.
while youre there, put in headstuds. unless you want to reuse the stock bolts.
i didnt realise we were under a parts conservation effort, and needed to so strictly ration parts.
+1 Dr. Octogon
Just have a compression test done and that should tell you if you have problems inside the motor.
