KA24DE swap. Help!!
I just bought a 1990 240sx with a half completed `96 KA24DE swap. The previous owner told me that the only thing left to do was to switch some wires around to get it started but don`t know which ones. Does anybobody know how to rewire a `96 KA on a `90 240?
So far this is what i have:
- 1990 240sx SE
- 1996 KA24DE engine
- 1992 Wire Harness
- 1992 KA24DE ECU
- 1992 MAFS
Your help is appreciated!

It has an external coil. I belive the distributor is out of a 1992 as well.

It is simply having the right parts, and switching some wires. Use the S14 motor with S13 dohc harness, mafs, coolant temp sensor, ecu, and distributer, and you should be good. The parts that you *might* (don't know off the top of my head) have to rewire are the "F9" and "F10" or "battery area" wires, and the dash plug. Don't forget the S13 dohc tach for your cluster! AC and PS are a whole nother story.
If you have no clue what I just said, call a professional. Help from the forums can only go so far before both of us lose our minds.
