This swap is not as challenging as people think it is. I have had an SR20DET and a RB25DET in my S13. I don't post on TR but i am bored so WTF. I got brackets welded on my stock cross meember and used solid motor mounts that a buddy of mine made for me. For a driveshaft i used both, the S13 rear part of the driveshaft and the R33 yolk going into the Tranny. Believe it or not the car rides smooth as hell. I dynoed the car bone stock @ XAT racing in Tampa and it made 282 and 27x Tq on 12 psi. That was about 10-11 months ago. Now the car has a upgraded turbo, greddy intake mani etc and makes a little more than that. haha.
BUt an RB is a good motor. If you have the knowledge its a more capable motor than most motors. Its not hard. I used to have a Mines ECU with a wire harness done by XAT now i have a microtech EMS.
