I got a s14 with a s15 motor set and the diff is broke i was wondering if anyone knows if a j30 diff or NA 300zx diff would bult up. The word on the street is that a s15 drive shaft is to long for the diffs i am trying to find out so i can finish my project please any help!!!!!!!!!!

 

calll around the local shops , they should be able to get you one , if you can wait phase2 should be able to get you one for sure.

 

you have to use an s15 diff due to the whole speed sensor shenannigans

 

The diff is.. broke. Someone stripped the hardened steel helical-cut gears? Or.. what? When the diff *breaks* it becomes an open diff... I don't see what the problem is. And.. I've never heard of a 240sx breaking a diff.

no dude the output shaft broke in half and all the bareings went to shit

nobody has one and the only person that does is charging $1500 because its for the whloe rear sub frame! do you know of any shops?

 

if you want the S15 rear end...you're gonna be spending some $$, if you can deal with not having a speedo...do a pumpkin from a z or j30, Do you have 5 lug on ur s14 or 4 lug?

 

i got the 4 lug base modle but there are people saying if you cant get a signal from the ABS in the diff it wont let you rev past 3 grad or so i am going to see if the j30 ABS is the same as a s15's.
