Default sputtering/bucking

i know this is really hard to diagnose over the internet but here it goes:
car starts and idles fine but while driving at a constant speed the car will intermettenly start sputtering/bucking. when this happens my apexi turbo timer A/F reading will go from 14.7 to 20 then off the scale. however, when this happens if i give it alot throttle(3/4 or more) the A/F ratio will drop back down to normal and all sputtering will be gone. then after crusing for a little while it will do it again. i have allready replaced the tps with a new one an that did not help. the car pulls hard and runs well on boost. the problem is only during constant speed driving.

any ideas would be great.

O2 sensor? Sounds alot like what mine went through when the wires severed themselves. Used that as an excuse to get a stainless elbow and 300zx style o2. Try inspecting the wires going to said o2 sensor. I ended up unplugging mine as a diagnostic "tool" to see if it made any difference in drivability since under WOT, it basically ignores the o2 sensor anyway if I remember correctly.

i know you replaced the TPS, but did you check the voltage you are getting with the key on and WOT? did you adjust it within the proper specs?

i followed the fsm directions(EC-204). where it says adjust the voltage between .35 to .65 volts i set it at .40v.
