Gas gauge not working???

Default Gas gauge not working???

my gas gauge is not working ...the gas light comes on when the gas gets low,but the gauge stays below empty all the time... i have changed the gauge already..

sounds like you have a bed sending unit (in tank) not a bad guage. they get funky over time. cleaning might fix it, but better off installing a new one.

take out your fule pump assembly and see if anything is bent

i pulled out the fuel pump assembly nothing looks bent and the float moves freely ...where can i get a fuel sending unit???

I had the same problem, my friend and I fixed it but its not really a permanent fix. I still have yet to get a new one. Here are your solutions you could use: 1. go out and jsut get a whole NEW assembly or 2. take out the assembly where it reads the amount of gas is where the lever is connected, that is not reading how much gas is in the tnak, what we did was get a fine sandpaper and sand a tiny bit off, taking off the minor debris and wa la!...helps if you se it in person....but if you can figure out what i said go for it

i called the nissan dedaler today and they said 200+ dollars.. i will probablt get one there , unless anyone know place cheaper..i looked on google and i didnt find anything
