Z31 ECU Tuning?

What program do you use to tune the VG30DET Ecu? I hear the 88-89 ECU's can be tuned using a rom editor, and a program, well Im curious what programs one can use to do this? Perferably free, but I will pay if need be.

There's a DET? The VG30DETT cars have an eeprom on the board that you can socket and modify. This method uses the same free program that the SR tuners use, I'm pretty sure. Too bad for you that the website is down right now. The ET cars, who knows.

IIRC the DET is the 84-89 Z31 turbo.

if you have only one line or sentence and its all caps it changes it automatically

VG30ET

VG30DET was nissan cima in japan
it said
4 CAM 4 VALVE 2 THROTTLE CERAMIC TURBO on the side

VG30ET...Anyway, there are a number of programs you can use. I like a program called LiveEdit. RomEditor works ok too and you can never go wrong knowing how to use a regular hex editor. Check out http://forum.ztechz.net/ for some info. There is a lot of info on tuning the z32 and very little on the z31 but most of the z32 stuff applies to the z31. Aim me if you need more info.
