Default 240 Brakes

When I had my Focus, numerous companies offered a "brake upgrade kit" with better pads, rotors, and stainless lines. Usually this works out at a bit of a savings when looking at buying the items seperately. I've looked at a few places online and have not found a similar package deal. Anyone know of any decent package deals for 240 brakes?

Also curious what stock replacement pads and rotors you would recommend. I was very happy with my EBC Green Stuff pads on the Focus. Excellent initial bite, no fade when abused, and practically no dust. Based on this experience I'm leaning towards these if they have an application for the 240...but of course I'm open to other recommendations as well.

I've heard good reviews from Brembo rotors (the unmolested kind w/o dimples, slots, etc). Who makes a good rotor for the 240?

its about the same price to piece it together, or buy a kit.
i think pdmracing sells a kit with everything.

but with the focus there is no factory upgrades, where with the 240 you can do q45, or 300z, or just get slotted rotors, and decent pads.

pdm has a complete 300zx upgrade for 1100 or something....all brand new stuff too. Brembo has a kit as well as stoptech i believe. I dont think wilwood does, because ive searched high/low to see if they did

well, if you switch to 5 lug, any kit for the 300z and skyline will work as well.
or just get the rotors redrilled.

Not looking to go too crazy just yet. While I'd like to do the 300zx brake upgrade, that isn't in the budget. Basically looking to keep the car safe/reliable for the 40+ mile daily commute while also upgrading with parts better than stock replacements.

then id just do some stainless lines, normal or slotted rotors, and some good street pads.
that should certainly be good enough.

From what ive heard. The PS13 units are better than the 300z brakes. Matt had some pictures posted somewhere of the comparison

Do what I'm gonna do. 180sx front brakes. Bigger than stock. Uses Altima ('93-'00) rotors and Maxima pads ('89-'94). Hopefully those are the right years, if someone could confirm...

You'll just have to do some trimming to the dustshield, or hell, just take that sumbitch off!

i've heard the tiny brake cylinder of the s13's single piston calipers isn't enough to power the quad piston z32 calipers very well.... true or false?
