see it all depends on what you can find. to do a basic upgrade on the stock brakes with ss lines, rotors, and decent pads your looking at about $400. i spent a little less than that and have MAN brakes. i did 97 Q45 fronts (which are bigger than the z32's) just twin piston. stock rotors, but ss lines and ebc green stuffs up front and hawk race pads in the rear. now if you go for the pre 97 q45 front brakes it will be alot easier, everything bolts up and they will go behind 15'' wheels were as my brakes require 16's. i also compared the q's to z32's and the q45's have more swept area and a bigger rotor and pad, but just not 4 piston. i do need to upgrade my master to a z32 though. they are a bit touchy and take some modulation to not lock a front wheel up. on a budget i would do 90-95 q45 or j30 fronts (all the same) twin piston and will bolt right up, just have to redrill the rotors for 4 lug. i can get a whole set of j30 fronts for $150 from a junk yard.

if you're not planning on serious upgrades, just get some Green Stuff pads, slotted rotors, and SS lines, you'll be fairly suprised.
