Hey guys, well im gonna be joining the "bandwagon" soon, REAL soon. im most likely gonna buy a 91 coupe, and im planning on putting a sr20det in it, but what should i do first? i dont really know, like i dont want my car to sound like a piece of s$*& goin down the road. could i get a exhaust the would match up to the sr20 and the ka24? and also i plan on doin a silvia front end conversion, but how come on all the coupe's i've ever seen they have the s13 front end opposed to the s15? or s14? u must forgive me for my stupidness about nissans, im just learning, but i've always had, bikes, or honda's so let me know please...no flaming, maybe possibly?? haha...see ya

 

oh and how much u think i should pay for one of these 91 coupes if they're in pretty decent condition??

A decent coupe SHOULD go for around 1500 to 2k....pending, but since they are getting more popular expect the prices to be higher

Who cares if your car sounds like ass, as long as it makes more power, hell i wouldnt care. lastly, the reason people put s13 silvia fronts on because well....they like it its all personal taste man, like i said though, research it all before you ask, because odds are it has beendiscussed before....

 

ya i gotta guy that wants to sell me his coupe for 2500, but he said other than the paint, its in really good condition, and if i were to put a sr20det would a stock exhaust be ok? and ummm, thanks for answering the conversion question..and sorry about the search thing..i guess i coulda done that...

Well look at it this way, if your goingto drop say 2500 into a swap, whats another 6-700 for a turbo back exhaust?(thats downpipe/testpipe/catback ) You could run a stock exhaust but its not likely, not many do it.....i have never seen anyonedo it, but of course...to each his own
