Default midpipes

Would regular 2+2 Z32 replacement midpipes/testpipes line up correctly on a TT converted 2+2 with the stock turbo setup? Someone told me that they wouldn't line up properly, but I just want to be sure. Thanks

No, they won't line up. You need j-spec DPs to make it a bolt on. They flow better anyway.

what if you were going with a set of harry's downpipes or the greg duprees? They would line up as well right?

The problem is most DP's were designed to replace the stock US-spec pre-cats. If you go with aftermarket DP's you need TT midpipes and your right back to where you started. The only way to make the 2+2 pipes fit is with j-spec DP's. I have a set of J-Spec's here that might be up for sale soon, but they shouldn't be to hard to track down.

Additional pointless info:
The precats only came on US-spec TT's, so the TT's got shorter midpipes to make everything fit right.
In Japan they didn't use precats so all Z's have the same midpipes.

Right, i know that but having a 2+2 wouldn't allow me to run the TT midpipes due to length. This blows
