I was Driving my sr20det sentra around for about 30 minutes and turned it off for 10 and rode it for about another 30. While riding, the water temps r at 210. I got into wendy's drive-thru and at one point when it was idling in the drive-thru the temp all of the sudden jumped down to like 195 or so (i guess the thermostat opened) but as soon as i put it in first gear and let off the clutch, it jumped to 210....and thats when it went over 210 a little bit.....so i turned the heat on full blast and after a while it went back to 210. Wtf can be happening here? The car over heated and xat put a new thermostat in it and retorqued the head bolts. Compression test and leak down test came out good. Maybe the turbo is heating up the radiator hoses? Any suggestions and/or opinions are very appreciated.
