Default air to water intercooling

can anyone point me in the direction of some companies that make air to water intercoolers (besides spearco i looked at some of their cores).

i would also like to know if anyone on here is using one (i know cyclones and typhoons use them stock --- and i think even GNs/T Types?).

i know the basic idea of how it works, using water or coolant to cool it, but i need a list of required parts.

i know it would require:

-core
-lines for water
-water reservoir (i would assume a separate system, engine coolant is too hot)
-i assume a pump of some sort is required? (electric)
-i notice some setups use oil coolers or water coolers mounted up front whre the water can be cooled, not sure if this is required, but i would most definately be using this.

and anything else that might be important.

i know this can be made practical for street driving, just want more info before i decide to go this route or not. i know it would be super sleeper. also anyone running a vortech with aftercooler, how does that hold up?

thanx in adv.

and how much space you have for an ic

Your best bet would be looking at cyclone or typhoon pages and seeing what they say. When i was looking at all of them awhile ago, people had TONS of info on the ic upgrades, bigger pump, and what not.

Try a google search for cy/ty mods.

i have more than enough space for a nice big one i can put it on either side of the car but i think ill keep it closer to my intake side because i have to run an intake for my turbocharger and a hot pipe coming out that side.

know any good sy/ty sites besides syty.net or whatever it is?

Water to air will work good provided you have a good amount of water in the system, a decent size heat exchanger and a strong pump to move the water around...... Main problem we have on the trucks is heat soak. Once the intercooler gets heat soaked, its almost impossbile for it to recover...... IM me with any other ?'s
