Default KA-T setup plans

My goal is a very street-able reliable KA, that makes 250-280whp@ ~14psi, I want to check this setup for any flaws and get some input or suggestions. Please remember that I am on a budget.

First I will get my motor compression tested( If anyone has the tools to do this and want to help me out, I would really appreciate it ), if that comes out ok I will Begin with new gaskets - rear and front main seals, valve cover gasket, head gasket, oil pan gasket

Also a New water pump and timing belt will be added along with Enjukus new clutch assembly.

Then the manifold will be a "SS autochrome KA - T25 manifold - 500" with a flex-pipe.

SR injectors, SR t25, hks wastergate actuator, koyo radiator + fans, gauges,Greddy VSPL, type-s, adapter flange, oil catch can, and of course a rom tune.

Any Advice? And again, If anyone can help me out with the compression test.

while you have the head off go ahead and maybe consider ARP studs? Also you'll need at least some 50lb injectors at those numbers if I recall. The 370cc SR injectors are only good to 250hp I believe. Also, you wont need a GASKET for the oil pan, just use the Make-a-gasket shit unless an oil pan gasket comes in a gasket kit your buying which I don't think they even make a gasket for the oil pan because if you look at it it has a groove on the sealing surface that is for holding the make-a-gasket goop. You may need a boost controller unless you find a hell of a spring for that wastegate, but boost controllers are nice to have nevertheless, you know, in case mom or g/f wants to take the car to the store she isn't wrapping it around a light pole cause it has no traction.

If that is a parts list you need to also include oil feed/return lines for the turbo as well as the T fitting for the lines to hook before the oil sending unit. If the VSPL doesn't come with all the piping, you'll need that and couplers. You will need an intake pipe as well unless of course its included in something you have mentioned above.

Thats all I can think of right now. I would off help installing shit and what-not but damn, Ft. Myers! haha Good luck too and take pics of progress.

I told u Xcess..

Old profec B spec 1 is like 200 or less.

DOH I forgot the ARP studs!

Also the injectors will gitter dun.. a t25 wont make 280 anyways. 250 is a good bet.
You could get some S15 injectors that most definately be enough for that sort of power.. and on the "Cheap".

Dang! KA-T pushing about 250 ponies...that's good.

Who would win? KA-T or S13 Sr20det???

Oh yeah by the way is your KA is SOHC or DOHC? Just want to know. I might go with that setup too.

I have seen some SR pushing about 300-400 ponies but I haven't seen a KA-T yet. What is the highest ponies can a KA-T pushed? That what I want to know. I know this is a dumb @$$ question. I would like a KA-T.

Ive been told that the stock piston rings are only good for 7psi, how true is this, and how reliable will 14psi be on the stock internals?
