Wondering if maby some of you nissan guys could help me out on this one. Long story short the owner of my work has a 2004 nissan 350z with some kind of chip in it and wants to race me . What kind of chips are out there for these cars? and how much preformance gains could this possible give him. there might be money involved in this and I want to know what I am getting into.

There is no chip for the Z as of yet that has proven any gains, the main thing used is a reflash of the ECU but mostly to fine tune the bolt on mods that have been installed. The most I have seen an NA 350Z is at 270-280 at the wheels with all NA bolt on done, Intake/Plenum/Cams/Headers/Pipes/exhaust/Reflash They come stock around 230-235 so not much gained. You need FI to really feel it
