I was reading a old post about the speed limiters on 240s and someone said that if you cut the yellow and green wire and unplug the 5th gear speed sensor that it will eliminate the speed limiter. Well I tried this a long time ago and it didn't work at all, infact it had the opposite result causing my car to cut out at 3000rpm in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear! causing me to only be able to get up to 90 on 275. Now I'm not calling this person a liar because I've herd of doing this mod from several people but I've also herd of it not working from several people. Has any one here done this and had it work/not work? I'd like to see some post because I'm thinking that there may be a difference in the computer programs.
