speed limiter on 240?
Where do I go to get the chip to get rid of this damn speed limiter. I hate it. I was doing 115mph, then all of a sudden it kicks in and I can't go anywhere.
if you are knowledgeable with electronics you can make one yourself using resistors and such from radio shack. a very cheap method if you know what you are doing.
greddy sells a speed cut killer device that is like 3 wires and its around $100 i think. kinda expensive but its like a plug and play thing or maybe just splice in.
its not a mod worth doing unless you will be doing over 115mph often, which isnt legal except at the track. id spend money on other mods to get you those 115mph traps before wasting money on the SCK.
ps - enthalpy made his own i believe, perhaps he can give you a diagram.

Well when your racing someone on the highway who's just as slow @ 115mph, but they have no limiter.. it's a bitch. See... My car, stock, has about the same pull as his up there, but my limiter is 121... so I would pwn him. Damn those Hondas.

its an easy mod. there are two ways to do it. above the ECU is a white plug that leads to your gauge cluster. theres a yellow wire with a green stripe. cut it. your speedo will still work and your ecu wont get a signal. after you do this yuou have to disconnect the 4th and 5th gear sensors on your tranny.
the othe rway i did was disconnecte fthe sensors and ran a toggle switch inline with my vehicle speed sensor. when i hit the swtich. it opens the signal and my speedo goes to 0. and the cars pulls.
