i just bought my first 240 and on my way home it started over heating a lil so i pull over at my firends house and he points out that my radiator cap must be bad cuz there was fuelnt all over the top. so i went and bought a new one and it helped a lilbit. but it was still heating up quik so we pop the hood agen and i feel the radiator hose and its not hot so he tell me mmy ter,ostat must be bad. so 7.99 later i have one butttttttttttttttttt i have no idea house ot get the houseing off. it looks like its part of the intakemani. sooooooooooooooooo dos anyoen know a tech page on this or some esay step by step? thanx so much

its a PITA...i did it once before on my single cam. there are just 3 (i think) bolts holding the housing on. might need a little force to get it off, mine was kind of stock on there. much easier on the dual cam.

OMG I SUCK AT THIS. there is somthing i think powerstering siting over the houseing and i cant get that shit offffffffffffffffffffffff. i suck

 

There are 3 10mm bolts that hold it on, just take them out and pull on the hose and it will come off.

 

ahhhhhhhhhhh ok guys i got it all done i had to take off the powersteering pump to figer it all out along with the fan shroud but after i was all done i figerd out that i need to replace my waterpump now its leaking here is some pics of my thermastat
