Matt,

if properly documented i think it would be an excellent part. SR's need a bit of help int he oiling department. I know my customers who understand how to properly address the weaknesses of a particular platform would want them in their rebuild.

SR20DET's have a catch can installed from the factory. There would be no need to upgrade / supplement it if the oil pump was added to a stock engine. People moving their breathing system all around on the SR's already have blow by issues, this wouldn't change it.

If you really want to gauge interest, post this on FreshAlloy. It will spread to other SR/KA serious sites.

That is good to know. What I was referring to mullet wise was there being so much oil pressure that it would come out of the breathers on the valve covers. I'd like to see this piece in action and see what kind of oil pressure it makes out of sheer curiosity.

On a complete buildup of a SR from the ground up, I'd be interested fo sho.

honestly there is so much oil flying around in the up in the valve cover area of the cylinder heads that you would have problems anyway...
