oil leak....

Default oil leak....

well after beating my 237g mile engine to hell the front main seal blew out and dumped all my oil all over the place....well i replaced that and now its comming from somewhere else.....does ne one kno any common leaky spots on the KA24? and where to get a decent priced aluminum radiator....or atleast one thats not plastic and leaks?

could be the rear main seal. if so, its a pain to change, gotta pulle the tranny, clutch, the seal is behind the flywheel, but its worth it to change it if you ever do a flywheel and clutch upgrade.

also check the valve cover gasket, that one sometimes gets old and brittle too. other than that there isnt too many leaky things on the KA.

You should go to car wash at night and clean the enginebay. Don't forget to keep the engine running while washing.

How old is your Oil pan gasket? thats probably seeping some goodness if it old. Could also be the rear main seal, but you could tell because there would be a nasty pile of oil right where the bottom of the tranny meets the block.

KA's dont use oil pan gaskets, just RTV/hondabond/elmer's

My 93 coupe came with an OEM replacement radiator with brass end caps. I'd do a little search for one of those.

looks like stock, but instead of plastic, it's brass with black paint. Could be copper. I'm not a metalurgist.
