Default speed sensor?

ok i experienced something weird today i have heads up display thjat was always kinda dim and never stayed on after like 20 seconds, but today i took out my carpet and the center colsole to redo my carpet when i was done i put everything back the way it was, but i went to drive my car and boom my heads up display was bright and it stayed on for like 20 minutes but i was driving it carefully so it wouls stay on so i felt comferatable getting on it but as soon as i hit the gas to the floor boop dissapeares and dosent come back...... i was wondering if maybe someone could describe where the wires go on the tranny as like the speed sensor or maybe where to check for loose wires.... thanks alot guys

The speed sensor is at the back of the tranny near the driveshaft, it has a screw that holds it in place, trace the wires up to the connector near the front of the tranny by the motor, a bad connector might be your problem, I had the same problem and getting a connector from the junkyard fixed it. the wires shoud be yellow/black connect to green and yellow/green connected to black. hope you get it figured out
