So i started my car today and of course since its a oncecam it gave me problems, but more unusual than ever. It first took longer to crank, then once it was started i had to keep my foot on the gas so it wouldn't die out(which it did anyways). Then once i got it started again it sounded like it was not running on all cylinders. Everything has been replaced on it since the rebuild 6000 miles ago and this should not be happening. WTF??? Thought it was a fuel problem so i changed filter and added some injector cleaner. no help. but the wierd thing is once it runs....sputters for awhile, it'll level out and make it possible to drive. But then there is a massive loss of power and some serious miss firing. If any help is out there i need it!!!

Taylor once has to tap the base of all my injectors and it turned up one was stuck!

 

what do you mean by he had to tap the base of the injectors? just curious b/c i have some kind of fuel problem and i havent found it yet after replacing fuel pump and filter.

 

Go outside and start the car then take a screw driver or wrench and hit the side of the injectors. Sometimes they freeze up and wont work right.

I dont know if the car has to be running or not. Try it either way.

 

has the car had the same gas in it for a while? after they sit the gas goes bad, and has these symptoms.

 

nope, i refill at least once a week...so thats not it, ill try tapping on the injectors and see what that brings me. thanks.

Dont just jiggle them.. Do this ^^^^^^
